Our InitiativesView All
To address the issue of drop-outs and improve the quality of education students receive, the company has focused its CSR efforts to improve access to education and increase retention rates for children of all ages. Through programmes such as Angrezi Seekho and KHEL, the company has brought about a sea change. Over 5 lakh school children were covered through various projects in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Odisha, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat and Karnataka.
Healthcare is another important area that we focus on under their CSR initiative. The company lays further emphasis on preventive healthcare, one of the most important human development indicators. Unfortunately, preventive healthcare has not been inculcated in our society at large, and in rural areas in particular, causing untold suffering. So, we aim to address the needs of children and adults, catering to all age groups.
Skill development and livelihoods
Addressing the skill deficit amongst youth, the company has implemented novel initiatives that promote ways of earning a dignified livelihood. Our CSR activities under the umbrella of skill development equip youth, including women, with sustainable and marketable skills. We also promote digital learning in tandem with the current market needs, and empower women to achieve self-sufficiency. Our initiatives are meant to complement the Skill India movement as per Government of India.
Water supply and sanitation
Deteriorating water quality in rural and urban areas, drought-stricken regions where clean drinking water is scarce and lack of sanitation facilities that lead to preventable diseases has culminated in a series of initiatives that we hope will bolster these concerns. Our CSR projects in this sphere also cover the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan initiative of the Government to encourage and promote cleanliness in India.
